Sparke Helmore welcomes workers' compensation specialist Arelene Lowry

Arelene specialises in workers’ compensation, administrative law, insurance and motor vehicle accidents, including conduct of all aspects of catastrophic claims involving serious injuries, as well as complex medical, quantum and intricate liability issues. She has in-depth experience of working in the Northern Territory, acting for compensation insurers, the Northern Territory and Commonwealth governments, local councils and compulsory third-party insurers.
As a multi-jurisdictional practitioner, servicing both Northern Territory and South Australian markets, Arelene has in depth experience in all aspects of worker’s compensation and motor vehicle accidents, including specialist experience with indemnity, contribution, liability and both seeking and defending recovery claims between multiple parties. Her previous experience in migration and employment matters makes her an expert in the challenges presented by the integration of worker’s compensation with visa and HR/IR issues generally.
