James works with self-insurers in Victoria to effectively manage their statutory class issues and claims. Where incidents also have safety or industrial relations implications, he works closely with our Workplace Group to provide a complete legal solution for our clients.
What he does
James specialises in industrial statutory class issues in both Victorian and Commonwealth jurisdictions. He focuses on effectively managing claims and common law matters, and regularly runs major litigation proceedings. He also helps clients to manage risk by sharing papers he has written and delivering training on statutory class and legislative issues.
James is the Honorary Solicitor to the Self-Insurer's Association of Victoria and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria's Accident Compensation Committee.
