Felicity is a workplace lawyer who assists clients in the private and public sector with privacy and employment related issues. She has seen matters through to state and federal courts and tribunals including unfair dismissals, general protections claims, contractual disputes and anti-discrimination claims.
What she does
Felicity assists employers with any employment related issues that may arise in the workplace. These include discrimination, performance and disciplinary matters, workplace investigations and terminations as well as managing injured workers.
Who she works with
Felicity assists general counsel, industrial relations representatives and HR executives across the mining, insurance, pharmaceutical and aged care sectors, as well as all levels of government.
Qualifications
Felicity has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Media Communications from the University of Wollongong, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Wollongong.
Life before Sparkes
Starting in Sparkes' graduate rotation program, Felicity gained experience in general litigation and administrative law before finding her true passion in employment law with the Workplace group.
Life outside of Sparkes
Felicity is always looking for a new physical challenge. She has twice completed the OXFAM 100km trail walker and is thinking about taking on the trail for the third time.
