Dino has more than 18 years' experience in professional indemnity, directors' and officers' (D&O) and construction and property damage claims.
What he does
Dino advises and acts for insurers, insurance brokers and insureds on policy coverage, non-litigated and litigated disputes and risk allocation issues.
He also practices in aviation law, where he acts on property damage, cargo damage and recovery claims.
Who he works with
Dino advises and acts for domestic and international insurers and their insureds.
With respect to insureds, Dino primarily acts for company directors as well as a variety of professionals—with a particular focus on lawyers, insurance brokers and building industry professionals and participants.
From time to time Dino also acts for private (uninsured) litigants in respect of commercial disputes, and commercial and government clients on insurance advisory issues.
Qualifications
Dino holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from Sydney University. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2002.
Life before Sparkes
There was life before Sparkes? Not for Dino, who started as a paralegal while studying law and never looked back.
Life outside of Sparkes
Away from the office, football (the round ball variety) and family dominate. Dino also makes time for food and the pursuit of a transient hobby (current fixation—gelato making).
