Indemnity claims under contract works or Industrial Special Risk (ISR) policies play by their own rules. Figuring out whether the policy responds to the claim, then managing the resulting issues—it’s easier said than done.

Our specialist team has worked on claims involving public and privately owned infrastructure, including gas pipelines, rail facilities, coal loaders, desalination plants, roads and highways, ports and container handling facilities, bulk water assets and commercial premises. 

We manage delays in start-up claims and business interruption claims including those caused by machinery breakdowns.  We advise on the LEG and DE suite of exclusions and complex design and workmanship related failures.  We also get involved in fire damage claims, including investigating arson as well as fraud-related issues and non-disclosure.  In agriculture, we are dealing with an increasing number of suspicious crop claims around extreme weather events. 

We assist insurers with catastrophic claims management.  We've a great depth to the experts that we work with including across obscure specialities including all engineering disciplines, fire spread, hydrogeology as well as experts in maintaining and managing high voltage electrical assets (generation and distribution).
