Quality and consistency through collaboration

Business ethics

Ethical business practice (including fraud and corruption management) is a key part of our Enterprise Risk Management Framework, which aims to put risk management at the forefront of everyday decision-making at all levels within the firm.

At Sparke Helmore, our vision is underpinned by the firm's values of honesty and integrity – among others. Putting our clients at the heart of everything we do allows us to lead by example in our dealings with our own people and our clients. By codifying fraud and corruption control management guidelines and procedures we are fostering a corporate culture that prioritises proactive management and mitigation of fraudulent or corrupt behaviour.

Our Fraud and Corruption Control Framework and Statement of Business Ethics assist us to mitigate potential fraudulent or corrupt business practices. They aim to make our firm's approach to ethical business practice transparent and fulfil the requirements set out in the relevant Australian Standard (AS 8001 - 2008).
