Chris is a long-standing insurance lawyer working in both our general liability and professional indemnity teams. He represents and advises professionals on claims that are brought against them and when they face regulatory or disciplinary action.

He works with corporate and government clients on their liability exposures and risk management issues. He also assists his insurance clients with insurance contract disputes.

Qualifications
Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws and is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law. He is also a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Life before Sparkes
Chris was the lead insurance partner at McCabes for more than 17 years and, more recently, was a partner at Lee & Lyons. His time spent away from the legal profession in a corporate role allows him to bring a client's perspective to his dealings with legal problems.
Life outside of Sparkes
Chris is happiest outside the office in the great outdoors in particular in the NSW Southern Alps, whether it is summer or winter. He and his family live on the northern beaches of Sydney.
