Bernadette Rayment – Bernadette has extensive knowledge of the Commonwealth's operating environment—including the requirements of the Legal Services Directions—and expertise advising the Commonwealth on case strategy which takes into account the broader policy objectives of government. Bernadette regularly works in close co-operation with Courts and the AAT to implement case management initiatives that streamline practices and minimise costs.
Katherine Whittemore – Katherine regularly appears in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia and High Court of Australia for some of the largest Commonwealth agencies in merits and judicial review matters.
Matthew Hawker – Matthew regularly appears as solicitor-advocate in hearings before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Federal Court of Australia. He also provides legal advice and representation in the statutory interpretation of various pieces of Commonwealth legislation, weighing in on the scope of liability and obligations under the applicable legislation and regulatory setting.
Karwan Eskerie – Karwan advises Commonwealth agencies on complex statutory interpretation issues, administrative decision-making, legislative processes, reviews and regulatory action. He also manages complex litigation and appears as advocate.
