The fifth annual Dive In Festival concluded its three-day international events programme last Friday. Sparkes really made its mark on the Australian arm of the festival this year, sponsoring two terrific events in Sydney and one in Brisbane.
“The goal of Dive In is to create and share moments of insight with our colleagues in insurance that we can take back to our organisations” said Sparkes D&I Advisory Committee Chair, Gillian Davidson. “Working across the industry is a powerful way to accelerate efforts towards building inclusive workplace cultures and we all know that it’s good for people, and good for business.”
Chair of Inclusion@Lloyd’s and CEO of Aon UK, Dominic Christian, commented on the significance of collaboration, “When you look at the list of companies that have sponsored and supported Dive In internationally, it’s evident that as a sector, we are prepared to put aside competitive rivalries to invest in the future of insurance as an employer of choice. We are not perfect, and we still have a lot to do, but with efforts on this scale, change for the better is coming.”
