Sparke Helmore Lawyers is delighted to welcome Sally Weatherstone to its Corporate & Commercial team.

An experienced legal adviser with some 12 years’ experience specialising in corporate and commercial advice to listed and private companies, Sally joins the team as a partner and will consolidate and complement the firm’s offerings in the areas of corporate advisory, equity capital markets and M&A as well as mining and resources.

Sally’s experience includes public company takeovers, advising on schemes of arrangement, private equity transactions, share and asset acquisitions and disposals, broad fundraising and securities law experience acting on IPOs as well as placements and rights issues, advising on foreign investment rules and regulations, ASX Listing Rules, directors’ duties and corporate governance requirements.
