Reinsurance Business has released its annual Hot List, naming 59 professionals across the globe who have made significant contributions to the reinsurance sector over the past year—congratulations to Mark Doepel, Partner, for making the list!

Mark is one of only seven individuals from Australia to be recognised and the only lawyer.  As well as being a senior partner at Sparke Helmore, Mark is a Non-Executive Chairman  of Lloyd's Australia Limited and has played a significant role in advancing Lloyd's position in the Australian market. 

The publication reviewed contributions from professionals who had demonstrated leadership, advanced innovation, or implemented key initiatives to address industry challenges over the prior 12 months.  Starting with a pool of over 300 candidates from around the world, the selection process narrowed the field to the 59 professionals based on their influence on the sector. The research team also considered previous accolades and recognitions as part of the evaluation.
