Merryn has worked for many years across brand, marketing and communications. She spent 18 years based in London working for various legal and accounting firms, before returning to Australia in 2008 to continue her career in professional services.

We are excited to announce that Lani Carter, Special Counsel has been recognised as an Insurance Law Rising Star, South Australia in the 2024 Doyle’s Guide!

With only five lawyers receiving this accolade, it is a testament to Lani’s expertise across a range of defendant insurance law matters. Lani leads the professional indemnity practice in South Australia and the Northern Territory and assists professional services specialists in defending claims made against them and regulatory complaints made to professional bodies.

Strongly committed to the insurance industry, Lani is the President of the Australian Insurance Law Association (SA Chapter) and a member of the Australian Professional Indemnity Group and the SA Law Claims Assessment Panel.
