It was a great night for Sparke Helmore Lawyers at the Australasian Law Awards at The Star in Sydney on 23 May 2019 as we celebrated being a finalist in the Law Firm of the Year (101-500 lawyers) and Insurance Specialist Firm of the Year categories and our National Managing Partner Phillip Salem being a finalist in the Law Firm Leader of the Year (>200 lawyers) category.

“I’m thrilled with being a finalist in three categories, which recognises all the hard work that everyone in the firm puts in every day and the service we’re delivering to our clients. I’d especially like to congratulate the Insurance team on being recognised for the fifth time, which is an amazing result", said Phillip.

Commercial Insurance NPGL Chris Wood went on to say: "Our team of lawyers and support staff are talented, committed and always have clients’ best interests at the forefront of everything they do. I’m so proud of them and being in the running for Insurance Specialist Firm of the Year for the fifth time is a testament to the team’s hard work!”

We’d also like to congratulate Steadfast for winning our sponsored Sparke Helmore Insurance In-house Team of the Year category, which was presented by Partner Chris Wood. Phillip also presented the NZ Dealmaker of the Year award to John Strowger, Chapman Tripp,
