Laura manages and advises clients on a broad range of liability matters, particularly those involving complex liability and quantum issues, intentional torts, property damage and statutory classes of insurance. She has appeared in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of NSW and is an experienced practitioner who is commercially minded and always strives to achieve the best results for her clients.

Laura advises clients from a range of sectors, including schools, churches, construction companies, shopping centres, pubs, hotels, sports associations, small businesses and state government agencies.

Qualifications
Laura has a Bachelor of Media and a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Life before Sparkes
Since her admission to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2008, Laura has worked exclusively for Sydney-based firms specialising in insurance law.
Life outside of Sparkes
Laura enjoys an active lifestyle and enjoys keeping fit. She appreciates sharing a meal and a glass of wine with friends and family. Laura also spends as much time as possible supporting the performing arts and Australian sport and particularly enjoys live music, theatre, ballet, cricket, tennis and football.
