We advise on the risks and claims that arise from a potential or actual breach in negligence, contract or statute and that result in damage to a third party, either personally or against the third party's property.

We handle all manner of liability issues – from the conduct of coronial inquiries and investigations, intentional tort claims, product liability including management of claims against manufacturers or suppliers of “defective” products, personal injury claims ranging from the minor to the catastrophic, all aspect of property liability claims as well as risk management assessments to determine claims causation strategies. 

When it comes to policy wording, interpretation, coverage issues and exclusion clauses, we are the “go to” firm.   As one of the largest and most experienced liability teams in the country, we handle around 1,000 liability claims each year working with international and Australian insurers, underwriters and corporations.  We achieve the right outcomes through conciliation, mediation, arbitration, and expert determination skills embedded across our team.
