Elisa is an insurance law practitioner and litigator, with experience across several lines of insurance, including workers' compensation, general and product liability, and property.
What she does
Elisa advises clients on managing and resolving workers' compensation claims, and regularly appears as an advocate at WorkCover Western Australia. She also provides general advice on insurance policy wording and indemnity claims.
Elisa regularly appears in the District and Supreme Courts for claims involving the Civil Liability Act 2002 (WA), as well as general property and product claims.

Elisa works with insurers, self-insurers, employers and insureds.
Qualifications
Elisa has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia. She studied law at Murdoch University and was admitted to practice in December 1998.
Life before Sparkes
Elisa started her career at Jackson McDonald in 1991, where she completed the five-year articled clerk program, and was promoted to senior associate in 2000.
She then joined boutique insurance firm Jarman McKenna as a senior associate when it first opened in July 2003. She became a partner of the firm before moving into a consultancy role. Elisa joined Sparke Helmore when Jarman McKenna merged with the firm in March 2017.
Life outside of Sparkes
Elisa's favourite thing to do in the summer months is to spend time boating around Rottnest Island, eating crayfish, relaxing and drinking wine.
