Recent experience
Anacacia Capital and Careers Training Group acquisitions
We advised Careers Training Group and Anacacia Capital as private equity sponsor on its acquisition of Practical Outcomes Pty Ltd, a high quality early childhood education provider, in February 2015 and of Royal College of Healthcare Pty Ltd, a specialist trainer in the aged care sector, in October 2014.
DNV Group's acquisition of International Standards Certification
We advised the DNV GL Group AS on its acquisition, through its Australian and Japanese subsidiaries that form part of its Business Assurance Group, of the International Standards Certification business in Australia and Japan.
DSA Hospitals sale of Charlestown Private Hospital
We advised DSA Hospitals Pty Ltd (trading as Charlestown Private Hospital) in the sale of the Charlestown Private Hospital business to Nexus Day Hospitals, controlled by Wolseley Private Equity fund.
IBIS Group sale
We advised the IBIS Group, which is owned by ANZ Private Equity, on the sale of two aged care facilities in Queensland to Arcare Pty Ltd (part of the Knowles Group), as part of a large divestment program by the IBIS Group.
Investment by Inflection Private Equity into CMO Compliance
We advised CMO Compliance on Inflection Private Equity's investment in the company. CMO is a global, market leader in governance and risk compliance software.
Mirror Image International Holdings sale of shares
We advised two target companies, Mirror Image International Holdings and MIA Technology Australia Pty Ltd, and six independent companies as the vendors, on the sale of shares in the two target companies.
Norwest Productions Ltd acquisition
We advised Norwest Productions Pty Limited on its acquisition of the business and assets of Cairellie Pty Limited, a specialist event services business.
OCA Group's sale to Arowana International
We acted for the former owners of the OCA Group of Companies, an online training and education business, on the sale of their businesses to Arowana International's education division.
oOh!media's employee equity incentive schemes
We advised the management of oOh!media and their connected entities in relation to their equity and options in the company, on a dual track sale and IPO process that ended in oOh!media's initial public offering and listing on the ASX.
Sale of Gloria Jean's Coffee group to Retail Food Group Ltd
We advised Tea & Coffee Traders (the Saleh family) on the sale of the Gloria Jean's Coffee group, a global business that is a market leader in coffee roasting and franchised coffee retail in Australia, to ASX listed Retail Food Group Limited (owner, developer and manager of retail food franchise systems).
