Vivian is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer who understands the value of providing end-to-end legal services with practical and actionable advice. She is consistently focused on achieving timely and meaningful client outcomes and is always up for a challenge.
What she does
Vivian advises clients on a range of procurement projects including high risk high value acquisitions of technology solutions, hardware, software, personnel, and services. In doing so, Vivian advises on procurement methods, develops request documentation, drafts contract documentation, reviews evaluation documentation, assists in negotiations, and provides ad-hoc advice. She also advises on post-execution contract dispute resolutions, variations, novations, and terminations.

Qualifications
Vivian has a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws with a Major in Human Resource Management from the University of Technology Sydney. She is currently undertaking a Master of Laws with a Specialisation in Private Commercial Law and Human Security Law at the Australian National University.
Life before Sparkes
Vivian previously worked as in-house counsel for the Commonwealth Department of Social Services. She has also worked for the Commonwealth Department of the House of Representatives as a researcher and member of the Secretariat for the House Standing Committee on Economics and Joint Standing Committee on Migration.
Life outside of Sparkes
Outside of Sparkes, Vivian is often trying to commit herself to a new fitness club and/or wellness routine, but frequently ends up cancelling classes in favour of the latest romance book and local wine bar.
