Sharon has more than 20 years’ experience in human resources and operations, primarily in professional services environments across Australia, Asia-Pacific and globally. Sharon’s experience includes all facets of HR, focusing on strategic and tactical solutions to address people and business needs.
Sharon works with the Executive Committee and Board to develop and implement the firm’s HR Strategy and Business Plan. She is responsible for the successful delivery and execution of programs related to talent acquisition, employee capability, performance and reward, employee engagement and retention, diversity and inclusion, change management, risk management and workforce administration.
Sharon works closely with the National Executive Officer, National Managing Partner, National Practice Group Leaders and wider Partnership, the Firm Advisory and Services Team, and all of our people across the firm.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sydney University and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Macquarie University. She also holds accreditations in Mediation and Professional Coaching.
Sharon’s career began at American Express in Business Operations roles, before moving into Management Consulting firms. She recently held Asia Pacific HR Director and Global HR Initiatives Director positions with A.T. Kearney—the latter also included the role of Global Ombudsperson.
Sharon loves spending as much time as possible with her fur-kids (dogs!) at their weekend house out of town. Diversity being a true passion of Sharon’s, when she’s able to tear herself away from the weekend house, she loves travelling so that she can experience diverse cultures, wine and food.
