Sarah is a construction lawyer specialising in construction and infrastructure projects. Sarah acts for a range of private and government clients and has experience in drafting and negotiating a range of construction contracts, particularly Australian Standard construction contracts, design and construct, early contractor involvement and consultancy agreements. She also has experience in engineer, procure and construct contracts, operation and maintenance agreements, facilities management agreements and major public transport recontracting projects.

Sarah advises clients involved in infrastructure projects, building developments and major equipment procurement. She advises on tenders and contracts for development, design, construction, procurement, supply, operation, maintenance and services.

Sarah works with energy companies, facilities management companies, infrastructure contractors, health care providers, universities, developers, government departments and agencies, and building and engineering contractors.
Qualifications
Sarah has a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
Life before Sparkes
Sarah began her legal career as a graduate at MinterEllison. After completing her practice group rotations she settled in the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction team where she worked for four years.
Life outside of Sparkes
Sarah enjoys road trips, travelling to regional Victoria and the Gold Coast to see family, cooking, Pilates and spending time with her adopted greyhound, Vinnie.
