Sarah has a broad defendant insurance litigation practice, advising insurers and corporate clients across a diverse range of general and public liability claims. She has developed particular experience in complex personal injury and dust disease claims, working closely with clients in achieve practical, commercially focused outcomes.
What she does
Sarah manages general liability, and personal injury matters across Queensland, providing strategic and commercially focused advice from the outset through to resolution. Her practice also includes coverage advice, commercial litigation and complex liability disputes across the manufacturing, construction, retail and mining sectors.

Sarah acts for a diverse range of insurers and corporate clients, including clients operating across the mining and other commercial sectors.
Qualifications
Sarah holds a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Sarah gained experience in private practice at defendant insurance firms. She commenced her legal career in plaintiff personal injury litigation, acting for individuals in a broad range of compensation claims before transitioning to defendant insurance work.
Life outside of Sparkes
Outside the firm, Sarah enjoys spending time at the beach and exploring Brisbane’s food scene.
