Rebecca is a property lawyer with extensive experience in renewable energy, mining and resources, agribusiness and large scale land and water rural transactions. Rebecca has been admitted to practice for over a decade and brings with her international legal experience from a top tier international firm in London.
What she does
Rebecca has a depth of experience in advising the mining and energy sector on disposals, acquisitions and leasebacks of land and water, easements, leases and licences. She also acts for large scale primary producers and landowners in wind and solar leases, real estate transactions, water conveyance and intergenerational land transfers.
Who she works with
Rebecca acts for ASX listed mining companies, agricultural fund managers, primary producers and rural landowners.
Qualifications
Rebecca has a Bachelor of Laws from University of New England and a Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies from Southern Cross University.
Life before Sparkes
Rebecca spent four years working in real estate litigation in a top tier international firm in London where she managed a range of traditional property litigation issues including dilapidations, rights of light and other easements, property related insolvency and forfeiture matters.
Life outside of Sparkes
Rebecca has a busy family life with four young children. When she finds a spare moment, she enjoys spending time on her small farm in the Hunter Valley and coaching a local netball team.
