Natalia specialises advising in administrative law and Commonwealth compensation. She regularly appears as solicitor advocate in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court in merits review and judicial review proceedings. Natalia has significant experience and a keen interest in administrative and public law, and has developed a detailed understanding of the Commonwealth legal framework.
Natalia represents Commonwealth Government departments in matters involving statutory interpretation, merits review and judicial review in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court. She is an experienced solicitor-advocate in Commonwealth courts and tribunals.
Natalia has undertaken a secondment with a Commonwealth client providing advice on statutory interpretation and related administrative law issues. Natalia is also a co-lead of Sparke Helmore’s Six Degrees Gender Network.
Natalia advises and represents Commonwealth Government departments and agencies.
Natalia has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Adelaide. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the Law Society of South Australia.
Natalia joined Sparke Helmore in 2016. She commenced her legal career at DLA Phillips Fox before becoming the Associate to Deputy President Deane Jarvis at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Natalia then joined the Australian Government Solicitor, based in the General Administrative Law team. She also worked for Gallagher Bassett Services Pty Ltd managing SA workers’ compensation disputes.
Natalia loves spending time with her young family, enjoying the sun, sand and water at the beach with her children. She is an avid cook, enjoys travelling abroad and equally enjoys the local food, wine and lifestyle in Adelaide.
