Larissa Mepstead
PartnerAbout Larissa
Larissa is an experienced insurance litigator with international experience. She assists insurers to resolve CTP and motor claims, ranging from complex liability and indemnity issues to fraud issues, to multiple parties. Larissa has run matters through the Local, District and Supreme Courts and the Court of Appeal, as well as having substantial experience resolving claims at mediation or through other forms of informal dispute resolution.
What she does
Larissa manages major claims in a highly organised, diligent and decisive way. She is an accomplished negotiator and deft at devising early resolution strategies, which goes slightly against the grain given that, like most litigators, she likes nothing more than the thrill of court action.
Who she works with
Larissa works mainly with Australian subsidiaries of international insurers.
