Juliana Nikolovski-Jimenez

What she does

Juliana advises both insurers and corporate clients on all aspects of public liability including litigated and unlitigated matters. She has experience in advising and acting for shopping centres, supermarkets, local government council authorities, fast food outlets, construction and manufacturing companies in the defence of public liability claims. Juliana also specialises in defending claims related to historical abuse.

Juliana has conducted litigation in various Australian jurisdictions and has worked with a variety of clients both lay and professional, across a number of personal injury sub categories including public liability, work injury damages and CTP. She has also acted for countless plaintiffs in prosecution of their public liability claims.

Who she works with

Juliana has extensive experience in public liability and has prosecuted and defended a range of personal injury claims.  Her clients include owner/occupiers, local government, fast food chains, construction, mining and manufacturing companies, religious institutions and schools.

Qualifications

Juliana has a Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Western Sydney University, formerly the University of Western Sydney.

Life before Sparkes

Since the commencement of her legal career, Juliana has worked across a number of plaintiff personal injury firms in NSW, specialising in public liability claims. She has also worked in-house for an international insurer and at a boutique insurance law firm before joining Sparke Helmore in January 2025.

Life outside of Sparkes

In her spare time, Juliana enjoys exploring new countries and savouring Italian and Mexican cuisine. She also loves listening to music, attending concerts and curling up with a good book alongside her feline friend.
