Jaimee is a lawyer in the Commercial Disputes and Insolvency team. She specialises in advising and representing clients in a range of pre-litigious and litigious matters arising from general contractual disputes, consumer disputes, director and shareholder disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct, leasing or other property disputes, credit and debt recovery, and insolvency matters.
What she does
Jaimee’s work spans a wide range of commercial disputes, including contract and debt recovery actions, Corporations Act disputes, and all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency matters. She regularly appears in New South Wales courts at all levels, and in the Federal Court and the bankruptcy division of the Federal Circuit and Family Court.

Qualifications
Jaimee holds a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University.
She is admitted to practice in New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
Life before Sparkes
Jaimee initially joined in July 2020 when Laycock Burke Castaldi, a boutique commercial and employment firm merged with Sparke Helmore. After a short hiatus working in the insurance sector, Jaimee returned to Sparke Helmore in 2024.
Life outside of Sparkes
Outside of work, Jaimee enjoys spending time with her family, planning her next holiday, and enjoying a cold glass of champagne.
