Eresha is a corporate and commercial lawyer with almost 15 years of local and international experience, with particular expertise in private and public mergers and acquisitions and capital raisings. More recently, she has completed a secondment as the General Counsel of a large multinational pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical company.
What she does
Eresha advises on private treaty acquisitions and disposals, public company takeovers and schemes of arrangement, IPOs and fundraising, corporate structuring, capital management, shareholder arrangements, foreign investment, general commercial contractual arrangements, corporate governance and compliance with the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules.
Who she works with
Eresha acts for a range of clients, including ASX-listed companies and international conglomerates, as well as start-ups across an expansive range of sectors—such as biomedical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, mining and commodities, hospitality, financial services, engineering, construction, banking, IT, retail, telecommunications and FMCG.
Qualifications
Eresha has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Laws degree (First Class Honors) from the University of Sydney.
Life before Sparkes
After beginning her career working at biomedical apparatus company, ResMed, Eresha went into private practice at Allens Linklaters and Dentons.
Life outside of Sparkes
Eresha is an avid tennis player, who also enjoys watching the grand slams. She also plays the drums and the piano and is studying French. Eresha is also a mother to two boys.
