Emma is a property lawyer specialising in commercial and industrial acquisitions and divestments, off-the-plan developments and commercial leasing.
What she does
Emma advises clients on a broad range of property matters including retail and commercial leasing, acquisitions, and disposals of residential, commercial and industrial properties. She acts for developers on off-the-plan developments for both land and strata subdivisions, including structuring, titling matters and contract preparation. Emma also acts for lenders and borrowers, providing advice on the acquisitions and disposals of commercial businesses and property finance.

Emma works primarily with public and private managed funds and asset managers, listed companies, government departments, developers, and high wealth entities.
Qualifications
Emma has a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Wollongong.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore in 2018, Emma worked for a boutique property and development law firm specialising in property law.
Life outside of Sparkes
Emma grew up by the beach and spends her free time with family and friends on the South Coast, fishing, boating, surfing and enjoying the outdoors. Emma’s most recent hobby is reformer pilates.
