Elyse assists employers with a range of employment related matters. She helps employers find practical solutions to workplace issues and guides clients through litigation, workplace investigations and legislative compliance.
What she does
Elyse assists public and private sector clients in all aspects of employment law. She regularly advises clients on employee misconduct, performance management, injured workers, terminations, contractual obligations, restraints of trade and enterprise bargaining. Her litigation experience includes unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination and victimisation claims.
Who she works with
Elyse works with a broad range of clients including large corporations, insurers and all levels of government.
Qualifications
Elyse has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Global Studies from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Life before Sparkes
Starting her career as a paralegal at Sparkes while completing her studies, Elyse initially gained experience in commercial insurance. After participating in the firm’s graduate rotation program, she found her passion for employment law.
Life outside of Sparkes
Elyse has been a dancer since an early age and still finds the time for weekly classes. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, trying new restaurants and going to concerts.
