Ellie advises on state workers' compensation, Commonwealth compensation and social security matters. She manages matters from their inception to contested hearings in the South Australian Employment Tribunal and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Ellie advises and represents insurers and government departments on matters concerning state and Commonwealth workers' compensation, and social security.

Ellie works closely with a state workers' compensation statutory authority as well as large insurers and government departments.
Qualifications
Ellie has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide.
She is a member of the Bulletin Committee and the Accident Compensation Committee of the Law Society of South Australia.
Life before Sparkes
Ellie was an Associate to Federal Court Justice Paul Finn and Federal Circuit Court Judge Christine Mead. During this time she worked across many jurisdictions and developed an interest in administrative law.
Before joining Sparke Helmore's Insurance Group, Ellie practised at a large plaintiff law firm in negligence and workers' compensation.
Life outside of Sparkes
Ellie enjoys spending time with her family at their Shiraz vineyard in the McLaren Vale winemaking region. She also loves spending time at the beach and travelling overseas.
