Domenic specialises in state workers’ compensation matters, and more generally injury-based compensation claims. He has extensive experience appearing in the SA Employment Tribunal. He also practises in our Commercial Insurance team.
What he does
Domenic provides advice at all levels of claims management. He offers training, up-skilling and consultancy services to assist in the front-end claims management process and to minimise risk, right through to providing representation during review and court proceedings.
He is detail-oriented and prides himself on identifying the specific needs and objectives of each of his clients’ early on, allowing him to provide solutions that achieve desired outcomes, even in highly complex matters.

Domenic represents insurers and self-insured entities as part of the State Worker’s Compensation Team and Commercial Insurance Team.
Qualifications
Domenic holds Bachelors of Law and Arts from the University of Adelaide. He completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the Law Society of South Australia.
Life before Sparkes
Domenic previously worked at a plaintiff firm where he represented a range of injured persons in common law claims, including in Compulsory Third Party, Dust Diseases Worker’s Compensation and Superannuation claims, before joining Sparke Helmore in 2016.
Life outside of Sparkes
Domenic is a self-professed sports nut and a proud fan of the Adelaide Crows and Liverpool Football Club. He loves a friendly debate about whether AFL or “real” football is the better sport. Domenic enjoys cooking in his spare time, and especially enjoys sharing a meal with family and friends. He also is passionate about music and enjoys travelling.
