Carly is a construction lawyer with experience acting for principals, contractors and subcontractors in contentious and non-contentious matters. She is commercially driven and committed to achieving the best results for her clients.
What she does
Carly advises clients on all aspects of construction and infrastructure matters. Specifically, her recent experience includes assisting clients with major projects, energy infrastructure construction, commercial property developments and construction disputes.
Who she works with
Carly works with government agencies, state-owned corporations, developers, and building and engineering contractors.
Qualifications
Carly has a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws/Diploma of Legal Practice (Honours) from the University of Newcastle.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Carly was a senior associate at MinterEllison in Sydney. She worked for DLA Piper in its Sydney and Hong Kong offices, earlier in her career.
Life outside of Sparkes
Carly enjoys spending her free time outdoors, so you'll often find her walking or jogging near Newcastle's beaches after work and on weekends. She also loves sharing a good meal with family and friends.
