Ariel is an employment lawyer with experience advising small and large organisations on a vast range of industrial matters including award coverage, underpayment disputes and contractual issues. Ariel’s work has exposed her to a range of industries including the banking, insurance, not-for-profit and health services industries.
Ariel assists clients with all types of employment matters, helping them navigate complex legislative landscapes and delicate workplace dynamics. Ariel focuses on achieving practical, pragmatic outcomes for businesses faced with difficult employment matters. These matters have included underpayment litigation, unfair dismissal applications, enterprise agreement disputes and advices on termination of employment.
Ariel works with CEOs, HR personnel, managers and in-house Counsel in both the private and public sectors.
Ariel has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Sydney and a Master of Legal Practice at the Australian National University.
Prior to joining Sparkes, Ariel worked at a top-tier law firm in commercial litigation, then for a major workplace relations consultancy for five years.
In between running after her toddler (and to a lesser degree, her husband), Ariel considers herself a master of curating the perfect cheese and wine combinations for a night with friends. Ariel also enjoys every morning session she manages to make to CrossFit.
