Amani specialises in construction and commercial contracts, in both back end (disputes) and front end (contracting) for construction industry participants, NSW Government and national corporations in the private sector. Amani utilises her eight years of experience in contract disputes to enhance her ability to identify and anticipate potential issues at the contract procurement and negotiation stage.
What she does
Amani specialises in construction dispute resolution, security of payment and contract drafting and review. She advises a range of clients including developers, builders, engineers, owners corporations and NSW Government bodies. Amani also advises and manages contract claims on live projects.
Who she works with
Amani works with local and state government and private clients across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, manufacturing, commercial and residential construction.
Qualifications
Amani has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Applied Finance) from Western Sydney University.
Life before Sparkes
Prior to joining Sparke Helmore, Amani spent over four years at a mid-tier law firm where she climbed up the ranks from lawyer to senior associate.
Life outside of Sparkes
Amani is an avid traveller and aims to tick off a new international destination each year. During her down time, she enjoys Brazilian jiu jitsu, kickboxing and yoga, collecting classic vinyl records and perfecting her hummus recipe.
