Recognised for her expertise in defendant workers’ compensation law, Alice has been named as a Leading Lawyer in Doyle’s for the past five years, from 2021 to 2025 (inclusive).
What she does
She is an expert in alternative dispute resolution and regularly represents respondents in the Personal Injury Commission in both statutory benefits disputes and in common law damages claims. Alice’s experience extends to complex litigation across both New South Wales and Federal jurisdictions. She regularly appears before the District Court, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Personal Injury Commission and the Administrative Review Tribunal (previously the Administrative Appeals Tribunal).

Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics, both from the University of Newcastle.

Alice has worked at a number of leading law firms, including as a Partner in a boutique insurance litigation and personal injury law firm.

Outside of work, Alice is an avid reader and true crime podcast listener. She also enjoys running and taking advantage of being close to Newcastle’s amazing beaches.
