Merryn has worked for many years across brand, marketing and communications. She spent 18 years based in London working for various legal and accounting firms, before returning to Australia in 2008 to continue her career in professional services.

Our Government, Public & Regulatory team has welcomed Special Counsel Kelly Matheson to our Canberra office, bolstering our privacy law capability.

Kelly is a highly experienced government lawyer and privacy specialist. She brings eight years’ experience in advising on privacy and secrecy law, with particular expertise in working on complex digital projects supporting her clients to deliver solutions which place privacy at the centre.

As the newest member of our Information Law group who provide advice across privacy, freedom of information, secrecy and other information access regimes, Kelly will work closely with Partner Chantal Tipene work in this complex and ever-evolving area of law.
