Quality and consistency through collaboration

At Sparke Helmore  we stand in support of the Diversity Council Australia’s (DCA) latest campaign to make Australian workplaces respectful and safe. Despite sexual harassment being unlawful in Australian workplaces since 1984, research confirms that sexual harassment and gendered violence is still a problem. In response, Phillip Salem, as National Managing Partner, has made the pledge:

I stand against gendered harassment and violence in all its forms, and

I commit to taking steps in my organisation to address sexual and sex-based harassment to make the workplace safe for everyone.

Phillip goes on to say, “We are proud to be a longstanding member of DCA and continue to be committed to diversity, equity and inclusion at the firm. As an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), our establishment of workplace programs, such as our Six Degrees Network, ensures we ‘walk the talk’ on gender equity.”
