New Banking & Finance partner joins Sparke Helmore

A skilled lawyer with more than 10 years’ experience specialising in banking and finance, Andrew joins the team as a partner and combines his legal and finance industry expertise to support institutions with transactional and advisory services, while keeping them ahead of the curve on global and local regulatory shifts.
Andrew’s experience includes construction and development finance, project finance, real estate finance, leveraged acquisition finance, corporate finance, restructuring, asset finance, securitisation, debt capital markets as well as derivatives. He also has specialist expertise in Islamic Finance, a rare and valuable commodity in the Australian market.

Andrew features in Legal 500 in his practice area, and is returning to Australia after a number of years in the Middle East working with Addleshaw Goddard LLP. While in the Middle East, Andrew’s practice focused on large club and syndicated corporate, project and real estate financings, involving local and international banks.
