Merryn has worked for many years across brand, marketing and communications. She spent 18 years based in London working for various legal and accounting firms, before returning to Australia in 2008 to continue her career in professional services.

Sparke Helmore has been assisting Rainforest Rescue on a pro bono basis since 2011. Since that time, the firm has played a crucial role in supporting Rainforest Rescue with its property acquisitions and conservation initiatives.

Rainforest Rescue is a charity that works to protect and restore rainforests by purchasing properties of high conservation value and working to protect their biodiversity. Rainforest Rescue aims to re-establish rainforests through planting, maintenance and restoration programs. Since 2011, we have assisted Rainforest Rescue with more than 40 pro bono matters, many of which have involved assisting with the purchase of land in the Daintree/Cape Tribulation area for conservation.
