Quality and consistency through collaboration

On Sunday 23 February, 27 Sparkies from our Sydney, Brisbane, Muswellbrook, Newcastle and Canberra offices and approximately 1,000 other triathletes took on the challenge of swimming, peddling and running around the picturesque Newcastle Harbour course at the 27th Sparke Helmore Newcastle City Triathlon. Thirty-six Sparkies and their friends and family members also volunteered their time to help make it a spectacular event.  

Partner and Head of the Triathlon Committee, Darren Rankine said “It was great to see everyone on the day and to have so many people competing, volunteering or cheering everyone on. I want to thank the Triathlon Committee and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly in the lead up to the event and the day itself. Everyone did a superb job!”

Congratulations to all of the triathletes who took part—whether they finished the course, won a medal or achieved a personal best. We look forward to next year’s event.
