2023 Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 finalists announced
12-April-2023Congratulations to Georgia Sivashankar, Associate and Tareena Martin, Lawyer for being recognised in their respective categories as finalists in the 2023 Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards.
The awards programme is now in its 12th year and is considered to be the pre-eminent awards that recognises the best and brightest young lawyers across Australia. With a record breaking 780 submissions this year—Georgia is recognised in the Workplace Health and Safety category, whilst Tareena is listed as a finalist in the Government category.
Georgia is based in our Adelaide office and has been described by a client as being an “extremely diligent professional, who has a clear proficiency and talent in litigious matters. I have valued not only her excellent organisation skills, but her insight and views as to both the legal and strategic matters our clients have faced. Georgia is not afraid to work hard, but possibly her best asset is her intuition – predicting what the clients and counsel will need, sometimes before they even know it.”
Tareena is based in our Melbourne office and specialises in public law litigation. She has taken carriage of numerous matters for key Commonwealth Government clients and is recognised for her technical ability and professional maturity which has led to her being entrusted with complex matters. Tareena has achieved excellent outcomes for her clients in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Circuit and Family Court.
