The safety landscape must evolve and adapt with every incident, so employers will forever be under enormous pressure to comply with multiple safety obligations and respond appropriately to incidents.

We work with many different industries—utilities, clients in the resource sector, professional services, logistics and transport, and commercial developers—so we have a unique depth to our experience across safety issues.  We are also skilled in regulatory investigations and prosecutions, and coronial inquests and inquiries.

We deal with investigations, requests for information, communications, worker and manager interviews, submissions and defences. Our service is end-to-end, with workplace health and safety (WHS) legal briefings for senior executives and boards as well as WHS training for staff and managers, including court simulations and regulator interview simulations. Safety litigation is a large part of what we do, too. From managing claims and advising on litigation strategies, to conducting executive liability briefings.

We also assist with improvement and prohibition notices, strategy, internal review, litigation and appeals, as well as preparing and approving Enforceable Undertakings. We make sure safety governance and assurance is robust. We help with regulatory compliance, risk management, policy development, codes of conduct, investigations and training.  We’re also specialists in due diligence compliance, drugs and alcohol, fatigue management, mental health and violence in the workplace. Across all industries, we support due diligence from a policy and procedure, and regulatory compliance perspective—and assist with audits and inspections.
