Mark is widely renowned for possessing a strong understanding of the client's world and their business environment. He provides strategic advice and guidance on workplace change and organisational restructures, the responsibilities of company directors, conduct of meetings and board composition issues. He advises boards and senior management of companies on corporate governance matters, due diligence and risk management issues.

Mark also advises on public infrastructure projects and infrastructure delivery, and the conduct of procurements for major projects, including OHS governance arrangements.

Mark is known for his commercial focus. He has completed off-site arrangements with clients, which has enabled him to gain first hand insights into the broad range of issues which confront businesses, and the importance of tailoring timely and cost effective legal and commercial solutions. By possessing a strong service orientated approach to the law, Mark is able to communicate effective solutions to assist clients in their decision making.

Prior to the law, Mark was a senior strategy executive with Goodman Fielder Ltd. He is also a former Government Adviser on infrastructure issues.

Mark is Chairman of Enegra Limited, and also Deputy Chairman of the Board of Australia Post and Chairman of the Board's Human Resources Committee. He is Deputy Chairman of John Holland Engineering and a Director of Forestry SA.
