Benchmark performance

Relative to comparable Australian law firms Sparke Helmore has enjoyed above market performance in the main benchmarks of law firm economics - revenue, profitability and staff turnover.

Recent competitive enterprise growth indicators based on new partner numbers ranked Sparke Helmore second among the 16 firms named, with more than half of those firms listed reporting negative growth. On leverage, Sparke Helmore placed third among the 16 participating firms, meaning quicker access to high-quality work earlier in your career.

Client satisfaction

Client satisfaction is exceptionally high - independent research conducted in 2006 showed that all clients surveyed rated us highly on the issues most important to them:

  • 100% of clients are well or extremely satisfied with the quality of our services
  • 91% of clients say they are well or extremely satisfied with our responsiveness to their needs

Our clients first and foremost want an efficient and effective commercial result. They know we are here to meet their needs and that we work uncompromisingly towards their commercial objectives, but they also acknowledge that we are good at building and managing relationships, offering a genuinely different experience of working with a law firm.

As well as being thoroughly professional, our people are human beings who are approachable, engaging, friendly and even fun to deal with.
