Leigh is experienced in environmental law and policy. She has over 20 years experience in roles such as corporate inhouse counsel, and in government and NGO roles. She also has experience in planning and environment law and most recently has worked in mining and native roles.

Leigh provides legal advice and representation on a range of environmental and planning matters.

Leigh works with local government clients and government and corporate clients.
Qualifications
Leigh holds a BA/LLB from the University of Auckland. She has also been admitted in New Zealand, England and Wales, Western Australia, and New South Wales.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparkes, Leigh gained valuable experience as a public servant in State governments in Western Australia, New Zealand, and New South Wales. Prior to entering government, Leigh worked in private law firms in Auckland, London, and Perth. She has also undertaken NGO roles in WA.
Life outside of Sparkes
Leigh enjoys running and hiking and belongs to a paddling group. She follows netball and rugby and has been learning Swedish for two years. Leigh loves to travel and hopes to visit Sweden soon.
