Andrea predominantly advises on CTP and liability, and has conducted many major claims in these areas. She has extensive experience as a litigator, regularly appearing in the District and Supreme Courts and Tribunals. She also advises on alternative dispute resolution strategies designed to promote a fair resolution of matters at an early stage.
What she does
Andrea conducts many complex CTP matters involving liability, causation, quantum, infant claims, compensation to relatives claims, blameless accidents and claims involving the Nominal Defendant. She has also conducted major liability claims for catastrophic injuries and fatalities, involving multiple parties and significant liability and quantum issues.

Andrea works with state, interstate and international insurers.
Qualifications
Andrea completed a Diploma of Law and subsequently a Master of Laws at Sydney University. She is a nationally accredited mediator and was appointed to the Law Society Mediator's Panel for 2016/2017.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Andrea worked on predominantly CTP and liability matters at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers for almost 10 years and later at boutique insurance firms Griffin Hilditch Lawyers and Lee & Lyons Lawyers.
Life outside of Sparkes
Andrea enjoys embarking on adventures with her family—travelling to new places and exploring the sights, as well as doing some shopping and tasting the local cuisine. When she is not off on one of these adventures, you can find Andrea enjoying the great outdoors on her bike or relaxing on the couch with a good book.
