Quality and consistency through collaboration

Sparke Helmore is delighted to announce that we have finalists in six categories of the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards (ALAs) this year.

Congratulations to the following teams and stand-out partner:

  • Government Team of the Year
  • Insurance Team of the Year
  • Intellectual Property Team of the Year
  • Law Firm of the Year
  • Pro Bono Program of the Year, and
  • Gillian Davidson for Partner of the Year.

Conjoint Associate Professor Sara Rayment is also in the running for Academic of the Year through her work at the University of Newcastle. Sara is a former Sparkes lawyer and she is now back working with us as an innovation project consultant, including the Legal Design & Innovation Lab through our partnership with the University of Newcastle.

The ALAs will be held on 9 August at The Star Sydney to recognise the outstanding work taking place across major legal practice areas, brilliance at the bar, legal in-house powerhouses, innovators and various firm-led pro bono programs.

We’re wishing the best of luck to Gillian, Sara and our five short-listed teams!
