Quality and consistency through collaboration

Sparke Helmore is delighted to announce that Phillip Salem has been re-appointed for a further three year term as National Managing Partner, commencing 1 March 2019.

Andrew White, Chair of Sparke Helmore’s Board, commented “Phillip has made an outstanding contribution to the strategic direction and continued growth of the firm and has been instrumental in bringing on board the best talent in the market to ensure we continue to exceed our clients’ expectations. We are delighted that Phillip has agreed to extend his tenure as National Managing Partner.”

Mr Salem was first appointed National Managing Partner in 2016. Before that, he was the firm’s Chairman from 2009 to 2012 and a member of the firm’s board from 2014. Last year Phillip celebrated 20 years with the firm.

“I’m honoured to lead the great firm of Sparke Helmore. We are driving forward transformation of the business at an exceptional pace, while remaining true to our traditional roots and remaining proudly Australian. Since taking on the role of National Managing Partner in 2016, the firm has grown to more than 850 people across nine offices and I have been thrilled that we have had so many of the best talent in the market join us in the last year, and including a number of “boomerangs” who have re-joined us,” said Mr Salem.

Mr Salem’s priorities over the next three years will focus on growth, transformation and people.
