We are pleased to announce that Stuart Marris, Partner and National Practice Group Leader of our Government team, based in Canberra, has been recognised as a leading Commercial Litigation, Dispute Resolution & Insolvency lawyer, Canberra, in Doyle’s Guide 2022.

Stuart concentrates on administrative law, litigation and dispute resolution, primarily at the Commonwealth level. He is one of the firm's most experienced practitioners in these areas and has advised various agencies on a range of issues regarding their statutory functions. He has represented clients in proceedings in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Courts at the Commonwealth level, as well as in various local and state jurisdictions.

Stuart is currently seconded part-time to a Commonwealth Government department to provide advice on statutory interpretation and related administrative law issues.
