Tim is a Consultant in the Corporate & Commercial team. He has a long-standing practice in property law substantially in commercial property and increasingly in all facets of agribusiness. Tim has a natural and consistent commitment to strong relationships with his clients.
What he does
Tim advises clients on all aspects of commercial property, including large scale acquisitions and sales and commercial and retail leasing for landlords and tenants. That core focus has been considerably supplemented in recent years by a strong practice in agribusiness.
Who he works with
Tim’s property clients include portfolio owners of commercial property, landlords and tenants of commercial and retail property, as well as owners of assets in agribusiness industries.
Qualifications
Tim holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and is a member of the inaugural water and agribusiness policy committee of the Queensland Law Society.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Tim spent 16 years with ClarkeKann (11 years as a partner). Before that Tim was a partner of Ebsworth & Ebsworth for 5 years and prior to that he spent 16 years (13 as a partner) at Clayton Utz and its predecessor firms.
Life outside of Sparkes
Tim has a strong interest in Australian political history, politics and thoroughbred horse racing.
